It is a rewarding career and she truly enjoys resolving issues for her clients. Sativa was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri and graduated from Glendale High School in 1989. She graduated from St. Louis University School of Law in 1996, and practiced law in St. Louis for several years before returning home to Springfield in 2004.

It is important that people understand how to protect their assets whether it is in relation to disability, long term care, or upon death. As an attorney, her philosophy is to inform her clients about their options so they can make educated decisions for their businesses and their families.

 

 

Cyndy Elworth

Cyndy Elworth Profile PhotoCyndy has been a licensed CPA since 1999.  She spent 13 years of her career in public accounting where she provided business advisory and consulting services, along with audit (both external and internal), taxation, payroll and fraud investigation services to clients.  Cyndy has also developed and utilized data analytics procedures during operational and compliance audits.  

In addition to teaching financial accounting and taxation courses at Missouri State and Drury University, she has also authored several articles for reputable professional publications.  As a guest panelist at Missouri State on numerous occasions Cyndy has enjoyed encouraging students to pursue an accounting or auditing career.  She is currently self-employed providing accounting, tax and business advisory services to clients in Southwest Missouri.

 

John Fleming

His primary expertise is in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing in world-wide settings. He was a process and industrial engineer for General Motors, and during those 26 years held positions as Materials Manager, Production Control Manager, Quality Control Manager, and Reliability Engineering Manager.

John holds a B.S.I.E. from Wayne State and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. Today, John is the founder of Enterprise Productivity Consulting and for the past ten years has been immersed in the design and implementation of lean enterprise solutions.  He also teaches Root Cause Analysis, Project Management, and FMEA (Failure Mode effects Analysis) for MSU’s Management Development Institute.

Dr. Lyle Foster

Missouri State University

Lyle Foster Profile PhotoPassionate about community Lyle Foster is a University professor and entrepreneur. A native of the state of Virginia Lyle learned early in life to appreciate the value of an education. His mother Jacquelin was an educator and encouraged him to take advantage of any opportunities to learn.

Following this advice at 16 Lyle went to Macalester College in St. Paul, MN and later to Brown as well as Yale University for graduate school programs. It was at Macalester that Lyle was a part of the award winning Sounds of Blackness musical group. He earned his doctorate in educational leadership at the University of Missouri.

An accredited diversity trainer Lyle conducts workshops and trainings on issues related to diversity and inclusion.  He also has provided consulting services to non profits, corporations, colleges and universities who are interested in developing more inclusive strategies to be diverse 21st century institutions.  Dr. Foster is considered to be a Diversity and Inclusion Specialist.  Most recently, he and colleague Dr. Leslie Anderson worked on the Lumina Foundation Goal 2025 grant designed to build an equitable, accessible, responsive and accountable higher education system to increase the proportion of Americans with degrees, certificates, and high quality credentials by the year 2025.  He is also a columnist in several local newspapers.

On the university level Mr. Foster teaches undergraduates at Missouri State University in areas including Social Problems, Multicultural Education, Poverty, Diversity Training and other areas.  In addition, he is the founder of Tough Talks and supports the office of Diversity and Inclusion as a faculty trainer.

Community, empowerment and inclusion are some of the main drivers in Lyle’s life.

Loving life, loving people and serving community are the mottos that he lives by.
